With the market seeing increasing demand for creative window designs, including irregular shaped units, we are promoting a flexible corner drive that allows you to fit Roto hardware to aluminium windows on which the drive movement needs to be transferred around angles greater or less than 90 degrees.
The corner drives are designed for use on either Tilt&Turn or Turn-Only windows made with the Roto AL or AL Designo systems.
This means that if you are making a window of such a shape, for example a trapezoid, your placement of locking points is not restricted and you can always achieve good compression all round. Even larger sized windows can have the same levels of weathersealing and security as rectangular or square windows of a similar glass area.
Roto engineers are able to run a feasibility check to reassure you that the flexible corner drive is suitable for the profile system you are using. Most standard profiles have already been assessed, so you will not have to wait long for confirmation.
