Roto Western Europe recently formalised an agreement to work as a partner with So Easy System, which manufactures and markets the So Easy brand of aluminium window and door systems.

So Easy System has a research and development office in Belgium and a production and warehouse site in Poland. This summer, Roto Benelux head Chris Cauwenberghs and sales manager Gerry Claassens travelled to the factory in Czosnow, Poland for a training and team collaboration event.

The focus of this training was Lift&Slide and Tilt&Turn systems. “The Roto Patio Lift system has been the first priority”, says Chris. “Tilt&Turn will be next, which is why we also covered Roto NX at this event. In November, we will introduce Patio Inowa with door products coming later”.

The formal partnership agreement covers how the two companies will work together on sales goals and services such as software, documentation and training.

“We have wanted to work more closely with a high quality aluminium systems house on a decent scale”, Chris explains. “We already have a longstanding cooperation with So Easy System since 2019. Our organisations are a really good fit. The So Easy System team is made up of great people to work with and our brands have premium status. Both Roto and So Easy System have patented technologies that bring many benefits to end users. We also make life easier for window manufacturers because both companies design products to make the production process as simple as possible”.

The agreement also includes a degree of product exclusivity, with Roto providing some bespoke technical solutions and some specific components that only So Easy System can buy.

“We like to work with Roto because they are known as an innovative supplier who are very reliable for both product quality and delivery”, said So Easy System R&D director Philip Stevering. “A partnership like this is preferred over a conventional supplier-customer relationship because the synergy from 1+1 is greater. Under this partnership we will also benefit from innovative gasket developments from Deventer, part of the Roto Group”.

When asked why So Easy System prefers Roto hardware, he replied, “So Easy aluminium profile is designed for top level performance, with exceptional resistance to rainwater and wind, plus excellent thermal insulation. Roto hardware and Deventer gaskets help us achieve these high standards because they provide consistent levels of compression all around a window or door and they maintain this over the lifetime of the unit”.

“We won’t go to market with a new project until everything is ready and planned out with all documentation and certificates in place”, Philip continued. “Chris, Gerry and the team at Roto support us really well with this approach and we are looking forward to success over the next months and years with these market-leading products”.
