This manager should have an advanced level of product & service strategy, maintaining relations with internal and external customers, shaping, maintaining & monitoring processes and leading the market requirements & marketing team.

This position is for team leader for the Western Europe region. 

You will be representing the very best Window & Door Technology in the world – this includes market-leading locking and operating systems, plus accessories and services that make the job of window manufacturers easier.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Monitoring/controlling the achievement of goals of the product applications (PAs) with regard to costs, deadlines and specifications
  • Initiation of the creation of technical installation drawings for the economic region
  • Recognition of customer and market needs (based on economic region)
  • Evaluating, filtering and approving the market and customer requirements in coordination with the market director
  • Regular monitoring of the market with local competitive comparisons (products and prices)
  • Communication of the market trends/market observations to central product marketing (ZPM)
  • Price and quantity specification by the economic region prior to entry of the product application (PA)
  • Definition of the entry and discontinuation of the predecessor/successor product on the local market
  • (with applications) Ensuring fast roll-out of the new articles following delivery readiness
  • Coordination of the SAP master data creation of the sales article in the economic region
  • Ensuring training courses for the sales force in the economic region
  • (locally in the markets) Cooperation with other (market) participants, profile manufacturers, machine manufacturers, OEMs, architectural hardware trade
  • Realisation of the market introduction concepts in the economic region

As well as:

  • Order clarification/feasibility test of product requirements with regard to the technical and economic realisability
  • Estimation of the time required for the realisation of the product application (PA) in the process
  • Communication of the planned delivery readiness to the customer
  • Economic evaluation of the product requirements and, if necessary, justified rejection
  • Compliance of the goals for applications (quality, costs and deadlines) during the PA running time and, introduce any required corrective measures and coordinate them beforehand with the interface functions if necessary
  • The preparation of a calculation of manufacturing costs and the preparation of the net sales prices
  • Communication of the market trends (hardware component trends) to central product marketing (ZPM)
  • Entry of product requirements including price and quantity specification
  • Entry of profile checks (including making drawing data available)
  • Entry of installation drawings (based on the required basic technical conditions, e.g. profile, window formats)
  • Requesting article numbers for addition of articles to the market-specific product range
  • Price and quantity specification by the economic region prior to entry of the PA
  • Definition of the entry and discontinuation of the predecessor/successor product per market
  • Marketing events, local organisation and budget
  • Marketing advertisement activities and budget
  • Local Technical documentation
  • Certification, local needs (SKG)
  • Campus, defining the training program for internal and external customers

Do you master the following skills?

  • Technical training with knowledge of marketing/business management
  • Professional experience in window and/or door construction (plus)
  • Business management training (focus on marketing/sales) with pertinent experience in window and/or door construction
  • Languages: Dutch, French & English
