Europe’s biggest window and door industry trade fair is back this spring. It looks set to be another excellent event, and you can expect another eye-catching, informative and memorable stand from Roto.
“The stand is inspired by the digital Roto City and is designed to be a place where people come together”, explains Subana Akhmedova, marketing specialist for Roto Western Europe. “Our colleagues in Germany have been inspired and worked really hard to create this concept and make it a reality. The idea is to make you feel as if you are in a place where the city meets nature and the indoors meets the outdoors”.
Covering around 1,200 square metres, the stand is designed not just to showcase technology, but to create connections — between products and systems, between ideas and solutions, and most importantly, between people.
“At the centre of the presentation is the role windows and doors play as connectors”, Subana explains. “They define transitions between indoors and outdoors, and create comfort and security, shaping how we live, work and move through buildings every day”.
The centrepiece: the City Park
At the heart of Roto City is a City Park — a calm, open space that mirrors a natural landscape while linking all of the surrounding building types. With generous seating areas, it’s designed to encourage conversations, be they informal first meetings or in-depth technical discussions.
From the City Park, visitors can move directly into different room scenarios, including a home, office, hotel, boarding house and villa. Each environment demonstrates how Roto solutions work across different frame materials and opening types, showing the breadth of the portfolio in ways that are easily relatable.
Hardware technology you can feel
Across the stand, visitors will find hardware solutions for windows, sliding elements and entrance doors — all ready to be experienced. Functionality, comfort and ease of use can be felt directly. Roto specialists will be on hand to explain the details and answer questions in visitors’ own language.
“Alongside our proven, popular systems, we will also be presenting new developments that will set further benchmarks for modern window and door technology”, says Subana.
A perfect match for window and door systems
Sealing solutions from specialist Deventer, along with Roto products for safe glazing, will be an integral part of the Roto City experience. Together with the hardware solutions, they create a perfectly matched system for modern window and door construction.
Elements equipped with Deventer seals will be clearly identified on the stand with the hashtag #perfectmatch, underlining how these components come together to perform as a complete system, adding even more value to windows and doors.
Digital accompaniment to the trade show experience
Following the event, customers and partners will be able to reconnect with their Roto contact to revisit highlights or explore specific topics in more depth. The virtual Roto City will provide digital access to all of the key product themes from the show. Guided by their Roto adviser, customers can explore solutions further and continue the conversation that started at Fensterbau.
Growing popularity from outside Germany
“The 2024 edition of Fensterbau was a great success, with Roto overall gaining 6.6% more enquiries than the show before”, says Chris Cauwenberghs, general manager Roto Western Europe. “From our own regional perspective, we found that the number of delegates from our Benelux, UK, Ireland and Scandinavian regions had increased overall by 20%. We are expecting it to be just as significant in 2026. We have customers who take a lot of time out of their calendar and travel a long way to Nuremberg. We are very grateful that they want to spend so much time on our stand and at our Roto Evenings. We are pleased to welcome all our partners and clients back this March, and look forward to making new contacts also”.
