The recent Polyclose 2026 fair in Ghent, Belgium provided Roto Western Europe with an opportunity to begin the year by presenting four proven, market-ready systems to industry professionals from across the Benelux region and further afield. Marketing Manager Patrice Lurmonte talked us through the exhibits, while other team members made comments.

Future-proof window hardware

One of the key products presented was Roto AL, the 16 mm aluminium hardware system that is especially convenient for system houses. “This modular system is designed to be as fabricator friendly and efficient as possible”, says Patrice. “It allows you to make almost any type or size of window your client could require, with a maximum sash height of 3000 mm. In tilt & turn you can have a 200 kg sash, and up to 300 kg in turn-only”.

Another major highlight has been Roto NX | C, the concealed tilt-and-turn hardware system and successor to Roto Designo. “NX | C is a very good example of how we respond to market needs,” explains Patrice. “With higher sash weights, larger dimensions and a concealed design, it supports contemporary window concepts while remaining easy to process.

NX | C has attracted strong interest. This is now the premium choice for windows without visible hinges”.

This message is echoed by Sercan Vural, Sales Representative for Wallonia:
There was a clear focus on NX | C tilt and turn, and my customers were impressed. With this system we are ready for the future – thanks to wider size ranges and higher weight limits, including up to 180 kg for timber profiles. NX | C also achieves H3 classification, which gives customers additional confidence.”

Sliding and door systems in strong demand

Interest in Roto Patio Inowa remains high. This sliding system has patented features unique to Roto. “Inowa offers a tight, hermetically sealed closure based on the principle “No Water, No Air,” delivering excellent wind and water resistance up to 1800 hPa”, explains Patrice. “Our bearing technology ensures smooth and reliable operation, even with large and heavy elements. This is the choice for those who demand premium comfort, high levels of energy efficiency and modern aesthetics”.

Doors were another key focus at Polyclose, particularly the Roto door lock programme, which is tailored to regional requirements. For the Netherlands, Roto presents a complete SKG-certified door lock solution combining Roto locks with the Pegasus contra-espagnolette for doors. The system offers high burglary resistance (SKG/*), reliable sealing and ergonomic operation, while adjustable shootbolts ensure perfect alignment even when timber profiles swell or shrink.

Our customers really appreciate how Roto can deliver a complete door solution”, says Gerry Claassens, Sales Manager for Benelux. “With Roto Safe, we cover hinges, locks, thresholds and weather seals as one coordinated system. That reduces complexity for manufacturers and ensures consistent performance across the entire door.

Strong relationships

Beyond the products, Polyclose has once again highlighted the importance of personal contact. Subana Akhmedova, Marketing Specialist, noted: “In addition to the valuable personal contacts with our loyal customers, we also had very interesting conversations with potential new customers. Especially in challenging times, our presence and willingness to listen are clearly appreciated.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand”, says Patrice. “We appreciated the number of clients who took the time to discuss their projects and requirements. A special thank you is also due to all the partners who assisted us with putting the exhibits together.

A look ahead to Fensterbau

While Polyclose offered a tightly-focused overview, it also served as a preview for the much wider selection of items Roto will present at Fensterbau Frontale 2026 in Nuremberg.

Chris Cauwenberghs, General Manager Roto Frank Western Europe, comments, “Polyclose was an excellent start to the year, but it is only a glimpse of what visitors can expect at Fensterbau. There we will show the full breadth of our innovations for windows, doors and sliding units in all materials. We very much look forward to having more face-to-face conversations.”

Roto Frank Western Europe will be part of the global Roto team at Fensterbau 2026 in March. In the meantime, to get more information on the solutions mentioned in this article, please get in touch with your local Roto representative.
