Windowmakers is a specialist manufacturer of high quality windows and doors in both PVC and aluminium. The company traces its roots back to 1980 and has grown over the decades to become a significant industrial supplier in Belgium.
All Windowmakers products are “Made in Belgium” at the company’s factory in Turnhout. The company prides itself on having partnerships with premium-brand suppliers in order to ensure strong performance and quality finish for its windows, doors and sliding systems.
Recently we interviewed Abby Latifine, Managing Director of Windowmakers to find out why he works with Roto and get more of his feedback on our partnership.

Our overall experience with Roto is very positive. Roto presents itself as a reliable and professional partner with a clear focus on quality, continuity, and long term collaboration. Communication generally runs smoothly, and there is a clear understanding of the needs within the window industry.
To what extent does Roto’s product range meet your needs in terms of quality, innovation, and variety?
Roto’s product range aligns largely with our needs. The quality is consistently high: the products are durable and reliable. In addition, Roto continues to invest in innovation, which is important to keep pace with market developments. The versatility within the Roto range means we can find solutions for different window types and applications.
How well do Roto’s hardware solutions integrate into your current window systems and production processes?
Roto’s hardware solutions integrate very well into our existing window systems and factory processes. The products are thoughtfully designed to be “fabricator friendly” and fit seamlessly into industrial production. This contributes to our overall efficiency.
Which Roto products do you use most, and what makes them suitable for your window designs?
We mainly use the Roto NX Tilt&Turn hardware and the corresponding safety and comfort solutions. These products stand out due to their reliability, user-friendliness, and flexibility, which makes them particularly suitable for our window designs.
In what ways has Roto supported you during your projects?
Roto supports us with technical guidance, product advice, and clear documentation. This support is especially valuable for more complex applications or new solutions.
How satisfied are you with Roto’s delivery times, product availability, and overall reliability?
Overall, we are very satisfied. Roto has proven to be a reliable supplier that respects agreements. During peak periods, availability can sometimes come under pressure, but this is usually communicated clearly.
How would you describe your experience with Roto’s technical support, sales team, or aftersales service?
Our experience with the sales team, technical support, and aftersales service has been consistently positive. The staff has the necessary expertise and thinks constructively along with us. The collaboration is professional and solution-oriented.
When problems arise, how quickly and effectively does Roto respond?
When issues occur, Roto generally responds quickly and appropriately. They actively look for solutions, and the followup is clear. This contributes to a sense of trust and partnership.
What additional products, services, or improvements would you like to see from Roto in the future?
In the future, we would like to see even more modular solutions, additional digital support (such as configuration tools), and further optimisation of logistical processes. We are also interested in doing even more training sessions and workshops.
