One of our loyal fabricator partners in Scotland is looking forward to expanding its range of large-sized windows following successful weather and security testing using Roto NX hardware.
Precision Windows & Doors Ltd, based in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire is a fabricator and installer, supplying a full range of windows and doors in both PVC and aluminium to customers across the central belt of Scotland.
Recently, the company arranged for weather and security testing of a large Tilt&Turn installation made from Veka FS 70 profile using Roto NX hardware. “The unit tested is a combination of a fixed pane next to a Tilt&Turn sash”, explains Alan Couper, Roto Key Account Manager for Scotland. “The sash has a rebate size of 1100 mm x 2200 mm”.
The installation achieved Class A2 for resistance to wind load, rated at 800 Pa, and also passed the enhanced security test conducted to the latest PAS 24 standard.
“We believe that Roto NX is the best Tilt&Turn system in the world and when we are able to combine it with a quality fabricator and profile, we are confident in achieving excellent test results like this”, says Alan. “I’d like to thank Precision for their long-standing custom and a great working relationship.
