By using Roto NX hardware on your windows and balcony doors, you are giving your customer the best in functionality, precision and reliability. But what about the component your customer interacts with every day – the handle?

This where the end user makes a physical connection with your window. The way a handle feels makes a huge impression on the person operating the window. If a handle feels uncomfortable or is hard to operate, they notice. In the showroom, it could be the deciding factor.

The appearance of the handle is also very important. It needs to fit well into a room without drawing too much attention to itself.

With the Roto Samba handle, you can unify the operating components on your window under one premium brand. You also get the full assurance of the Roto ten year guarantee covering both your hardware and handle.

Here are some of the benefits for your customers:

Ergonomics

The solid aluminium hand grip is contoured to be comfortable for the fingers, whichever way up the handle is being held. This, coupled with the precision of Roto NX hardware, means the window is always easy to operate.

Aesthetics

Immediately recognisable as a Tilt&Turn handle, Samba maintains a classic style while looking modern, but not overstated. It strikes a balance between traditional and modern handle designs. The simple contours fit with a wide range of home and office interiors.

There are six standard colours:

● White
● Grey brown
● Anodised silver
● Anodised matt brass
● Matt bronze
● Titanium

For most combinations of frame colour and room decor, one of these finishes will be a good match.

Burglar resistance

The lockable, high security version of Samba has a push-button cylinder which you press to quickly lock the window. To release it, you need the key. This variant has a torque resistance of 100 Nm, making it suitable for all of the standard burglary resistance tests in the European industry.

Convenience

The standard push button version of the handle can be unlocked simply by pressing the button. There is no key. This provides protection against forced movement of the hardware components from outside and means anyone can open the window without needing the key. A possible use for this version is on a building where a window is located in a position where it can be used for emergency escape.

Child Safety

Pairing a Samba handle with a Tilt-First mechanism provides an ideal solution for upstairs settings in a family home such as a child’s bedroom. Children can access the tilt position for ventilation, but they are protected from danger because the turn function remains blocked. The key is required to gain access to turn mode for cleaning or maintenance.
