Vacancy: Product Application Manager

About the role
We have a vacancy for a Product Application Manager, reporting to the Head of Market Requirements and Marketing and based at our regional head office in Nivelles, Belgium.
The role covers our Western Europe region, which encompasses Benelux, Scandinavia and the UK & Ireland. You will be working with colleagues in all of these countries and playing an important role in bringing our products to market.
You will be assessing the feasibility of requests for market specific applications, evaluating the market need, mapping these needs and fulfilling those that are taken forward. This will involve an economic evaluation of the product requirements and, if necessary, making a justified rejection. Therefore you will need to have a strong awareness of our product and sales strategy.
You will also play an important role in ensuring that new product applications are brought to market. This will involve helping to train colleagues, liaising with customers, and working to update our window configuration software, to give just a few examples.
To succeed with us, you will need to be open, good-humoured and able to work well with people of all cultures and backgrounds. You must be self-motivated to make your own planning and also able to work within timescales on projects with many participants.

Minimum qualifications and experience:
- Technical education (Batchelor level or equal by experience)
- 5 years professional experience or more (experience in window and/or door construction is a plus)
- Software skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, SAP (knowledge of window configuration software is a plus)
- Trilingual: Dutch, French and English
