As 2025 draws to a close, the Roto Western Europe team have been looking back on a year of achievements, challenges and growth –– and thinking about the future.

We asked our colleagues across the organisation to share their standout memories from 2025 and to tell us about their hopes and expectations for the year ahead.

This article will give you a feeling for how the Roto team members view their work. We hope it reassures you that you are with the best possible partners to take you into 2026 and beyond.

Product innovation and growth

There is always another development coming from Roto, be it a brand new product or a development to enhance an existing one.

Patrice Lurmonte (Marketing Manager) highlights the progress made in the sliding and door hardware segments:

One of the standout moments in 2025 was driving growth in the sliding segment with some exciting Inowa SKG** projects for strategic customers, alongside launching the Pegasus Contra-espagnolette for PVC and timber doors. Seeing the team’s hard work overcome obstacles and the positive reception from customers was incredibly rewarding.

Looking ahead, despite economic challenges in the market, Patrice is optimistic:

For 2026, I am confident our Product & Marketing team will rise to the challenge. We will walk the extra mile to reach our objectives and enhance the customer experience.

Supporting this sentiment, Philippe Franckart notes:

The acquisition of new high-potential customers through Inowa was a key highlight in 2025. For 2026, we expect increased interest from new system houses in Inowa and the official sales launch of Pegasus, plus exciting new projects like Penguin Flex & Comfort threshold and so many more new innovations that will be shown at Fensterbau fair in 2026.

Successful partnerships

Working with Roto is not a traditional supplier-client relationship: it’s a real partnership in which our team focuses on helping our partner companies excel.

Hans Scholing from Benelux Sales shares a memorable milestone:

The best moment was hearing in May 2025 that a customer placed their first order for Inowa after a comprehensive development process following its introduction at Polyclose 2024.

He looks forward to securing more business:

In 2026, I’m expecting some more success with new customers. We go into the year feeling positive

Echoing this positive momentum, Dave Smith (UK sales) says:

Securing business at Smart Systems for door locks and developing an Inowa solution was a 2025 highlight. In 2026, I expect to expand Inowa projects with some leading system houses in the UK. Patio Inowa is our product of the year for me because the response to it has been very positive, even if conversion takes time.

Similarly, Alan Couper (UK Sales) recalls:

Our UK partner Carl F Groupco selling their one millionth Roto TSL was a proud moment. Looking ahead, if PVC systems houses develop new profiles for Inowa, I expect more sales. Roto Patio Inowa stands out for its unmatched weather performance.

Daz Binning (Customer Service) reflects:

The best moment in 2025 was seeing the UK market’s success and being part of that achievement. For 2026, I’m looking forward to supporting growth in Benelux and Scandinavia.

Product focus: Roto NX | C and Patio Inowa

When we asked colleagues for their most important product of the year, Roto NX | C emerged as the clear favourite. Not surprising as the teams have been working with fabricators across the region to ensure a smooth transition to this state-of-the-art concealed hardware system.

Vittorio D’Amires (Benelux Sales) explains why:

The transition from NX Designo to NX | C is a clear technical step forward. The NX C supports sash weights up to 120 kg without extra components. On PVC you can achieve a maximum 150 kg and on timber 180 kg. The durability and installation features align with current market demands.

Hans Scholing agrees:

NX | C is the product of the year because of its improvements and new unique selling points. Tilt and turn hardware is a core business for us.

Fred van den Broek (Product Adaptation and Data Technician) adds:

We saw many customers switching from Roto NX Designo to the NX | C hinge side this year. It’s an important evolution in our product range, and in 2026, I’m looking forward to launching product training and software data updates to support this transition.

Sercan Vural (Benelux Sales) sums it up:

NX C stands out with design, security, and easy installation. It meets market trends for aesthetics and technical improvements.

Patio Inowa has also lost none of its ability to impress.

Kees Visser (Benelux Sales) says:

Even as a newcomer, I’m excited by the Roto Patio Inowa sliding system. It’s a fantastic product to present to customers.

Marketing and Customer Engagement

We never stop communicating, be it on social media, via our newsletter or face-to-face.

Subana Akhmedova (Marketing Specialist) reports:

We’re pleased to share that our newsletter audience has grown. New readers have joined following recent campaigns, and engagement levels are trending upward. This shows our content is resonating and we’re strengthening our community.

Subana also reflects on the value of face-to-face interaction:

We had some excellent customer visits this year. Several guests shared very positive impressions of our headquarters, saying how professional and welcoming the environment felt. These visits deepened relationships and opened valuable opportunities for future collaboration.

Letizia Knops reflects on 2025’s trade fair presence:

HoutPro+ was a real highlight, drawing strong interest and confirming our value in the timber and construction sector. It was our first presence at the event alongside partner Deventer.”

Looking ahead, she adds:

2026 is full of bright fairs: Polyclose in mid-January in Ghent, Belgium, and Fensterbau in Nuremberg, Germany. We will publish more updates on these events soon.

Strengthening Customer Service and Support

Service and close relationships remain at the heart of Roto’s approach. Our Customer Service Hub serves clients across the region, providing a fast response and expert assistance.

From a sales viewpoint, Vittorio D’Amires stresses:

It is essential that we continue to offer excellent service so customers can always rely on us.”

Paul Tracey (Team Lead Customer Service Hub) highlights improvements in digital service delivery:

Our customer portal has gone from strength to strength, allowing customers to access order confirmations, invoices, and pricing online. We’ve seen a 20% increase year-on-year in electronic orders, now at 95%, helped by Mail2AI. The Peppol e-invoicing testing was completed ahead of schedule and was very successful.

Leadership and Team Development

From a human resources perspective, Sylvie Hoste (Head of HR) shares key achievements:

In 2025, seeing the impact of our People Strategy come to life was my best moment. The GROW@Roto succession planning and talent development initiatives strengthened our leadership pipeline and employee engagement.

For 2026, Sylvie plans to:

Focus on strengthening our talent pipeline, driving digital transformation with SAP SuccessFactors modules, and support employee engagement through surveys and workshops. Operational excellence and compliance will remain critical, alongside aligning global HR projects with local needs.

Looking Forward

Chris Cauweberghs (General Manager Western Europe) sums up:

Despite challenges in several markets and the construction crisis, our relationships with partners and fabricators strengthened in 2025. Difficult times reveal our strengths. For 2026, I expect market improvements that will allow us to reap the rewards of our hard work.

You can see that 2025 has been a positive year overall for Roto Western Europe. From the successful rollout of of NX | C hardware to continued success with products such as Patio Inowa, the team has delivered solid progress even in tough economic times. As we move into 2026, there is a shared optimism that new product launches, strong customer relationships and ongoing operational improvements will pave the way for more growth.
