Why Tivolux Pro chooses to partner with Roto

Our Belgian partner Tivolux Pro has a 37 year track record and is known for making high quality windows and doors. The company, based in Bray in the  Wallonian region, offers products made from both PVC and aluminium and has long-standing partnerships with Kömmerling and Aliplast, as well as Roto.

Tivolux Pro recently launched a new, refreshed logo and brand identity, accompanied by the slogan “Proche de vous” (“Close to you”), reflecting values of trust, listening and collaboration. The company works with professional window installers across Wallonia.

How did Tivolux Pro start using Roto products?
Hermes: Tivolux began as a manufacturer of roller shutters. When the business grew, we wanted to start making windows and had the chance to acquire a nearby company that had a factory equipped to make PVC windows. This company already used Roto hardware, so we gave Roto a chance to present their latest products to us, which of course were impressive, and the partnership went on from there.

Why do you choose to keep working with Roto?
Hermes: Along with the product quality, Roto also provides excellent delivery and follow-up service. We never had any issues with Roto that would cause us to look elsewhere.

Johan: Recently, when Roto NT hardware changed to Roto NX, we decided to continue to work with Roto for strategic reasons. Roto is a quality brand, recognised in the industry as having a very positive image. The Roto brand is associated primarily with quality and this is the most important thing for us. It fits with our own philosophy as we make premium quality doors and windows.

Do your installers also appreciate the Roto brand?
Hermes: We work mainly with individual carpenters, not big installer companies. Our customers know Roto hardware very well and they are familiar with how it works. This is another good reason for us to keep using it.

What Roto products or services do you use and why do you choose them?
Johan: For our PVC windows, we use Roto NX tilt and turn hardware. This includes both the face-mounted (visible) hinges and the Roto NX Designo concealed hinge versions. We make our aluminium windows with concealed hinges and for these we use Roto AL Designo. The Roto hardware systems allow us to make a wide range of sizes of windows, and we know they will be reliable and secure for our end user customers.

Hermes: Another reason to choose Roto is that it was the first commercially successful tilt and turn hardware and the company has a history of innovation. Although there are now many more brands making this type of hardware, for us Roto remains the benchmark, the reference point, and it has not been bettered.

What features of Roto products do you find valuable? What do you like about Roto products?
Hermes: Roto has a complete product range for tilt and turn, so we can make all the configurations of windows required in the market, even trapezoidal shaped frames. If we need to we can enhance the security level, or make a two-sash window, or a tilt-only unit, for example.

Johan: We know from experience that the Roto hardware will last for years because it is made from high quality material. Also, the surface coating uses the latest anti-corrosion technology. So it gives us a lot of confidence.

Hermes: We almost never had an issue with Roto. When you follow the installation instructions correctly, you never get a problem. No material defects or problems.

How would you rate the customer service from Roto?
Johan:It is managed by our regional Roto representative, Sercan. He is very proactive and sociable, and he gives a good follow up and feedback. As Hermes says, we never have negative issues with Roto. When we need technical advice and support, Sercan is here for us and we are always satisfied.
